It was, um, a day today.
We were in Long Island visiting Mr. Quimby's mother. Now we are home.
My children are incredibly easy to put to bed. They are horrible in the car.
I love going to Mass at a different church. LOVE seeing the diversity of worship styles in our church. I am embarassed when I say something to the priest after Mass and it comes out the wrong way and he just looks at me oddly. I hate that feeling. It's happened to me more than once.
I miss my sisters. Being with Mr. Q's family (who I care for so deeply) also makes me miss mine.
Long Island is beautiful on a warm fall day. I could feel the tightness in my shoulders loosen.
I am grateful for some great things . . . and for friends who trust me and confide in me. What an honor to be a confidant.
