Sometimes I talk in accents. One of my favorites is what I think is an old man's Yiddish accent. I picked it up from listening to the audio version of one of my favorite children's books, All of a Kind Family by Sydney Taylor. So, to pass the time, I talk to Esther and Ruthie occasionally with that accent.
Esther: "Mommy, what are you DOING ?"
TSM: "I'm talking this way because it's funny."
Esther: "No, Mommy, it's NOT."

how funny that they reacted to it.
No matter what our kids tell us...we are funny, we are cool, and we can dance...
Oh, is that version of "and I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and people like me?"
I think you're funny!
