Tired of NaBloPoMo

Today is the first day that I've looked at the calendar to see how much longer I have for NaBloPoMo. 4 posts after today.

David and I have been watching the critically acclaimed Mad Men on Netflix. It's a really good show but it's portrayal of marriages is so, so disturbing. They all seem so distant, so superficial - not really connected to each other in a meaningful, substantive way. It makes me wonder if it's really an accurate portrayal of marriages during that time or simply sensationalized for TV.

David stumbled across this other TV show called Shadow Force. Being a junkie of the political thriller novels, I love this show. I read every Tom Clancy novel ever written by the time I was 20 years old. Now I'm anxiously awaiting a new Vince Flynn novel. Supposedly, Vince Flynn is a consultant on our other fave tv show - 24.

Um, anything else to muse about? Oh, I know, how about a shout out to my brother-in-law Chase?!?! He's a funny, funny guy and whenever somebody says something random out of the blue, he says, "My dog has lice and my sister likes to roller skate."
