Ode to Stimey

I've mentioned before that this blog has inspired me - it's the story of a woman who tries to remove 6 things from her house each day. She usually takes a picture of the space before she declutters, a picture after she declutters, and a picture of what she is getting rid of.

I can't seem to be able to take all those pictures, but did want to share what I've done in the past few weeks.

I started my decluttering in a kitchen cabinet. I should mention that we have a really small kitchen so space is at a premium. I figure, if I can't get Ruthie to eat as easily as I want, then at least I can have her food organized. It's so funny to have all those little jars of babyfood, since I didn't with Esther. These are kind of cute! Here's the fruits of my labor:

Stuff that had been thrown in the cabinet that really belongs elsewhere

Stuff that is expired, really old, or EMPTY
(it's crazy that someone with such a small kitchen would waste space with an empty container!)

Finished product (mmm, gorgeous! Hope it stays that way for a few days.)

Also, while I was getting things ready for the co-op sale, I took a load of things to VV that were unworthy of the sale, but worthy of VV:

I'd love to post pictures of my newly cleaned basement next!

In other matters, I'm souring on Craig's List. I've been posting for sale listings of my maternity clothes. I've had two very last minute cancellations and two people that haven't shown up!

Ooooooh, it looks so pretty! It is amazing what you can find in a cabinet once you really look. Thank you for my ode. I am honored!
